Macie Higgins

I am a utilitarian potter. I create my work using both wheel and hand building techniques. I am inspired by pattern, texture, and color. I have been working in red low fire earthenware clay for a while, and have recently started experimenting with a mid-range white porcelain.

Biography

I am a ceramic artist. I have a BFA with an emphasis in ceramics from WVU. I currently work from my home in Elkins, WV, and I teach classes at the Randolph County Community Arts Center.
