The West Virginia Division of Culture and History invites West Virginia artists to enter the 20th WV Juried Exhibition since 1979. The biennial event celebrates the exceptional talents and creativity of Mountain State artists. More than $30,000 in awards are available for participants in the exhibition, as well as the opportunity to have work purchased for the West Virginia State Museum art collection.

The SAAG’s 10th annual National Juried Show with cash prizes totaling $5,000, including $1,500 for Best of Show, will be displayed during the peak visitor months of October and November in the Richard Low Evans Gallery in Blue Ridge, Georgia.  The show attracts interest from the surrounding tri-state metropolitan areas of Atlanta, Asheville, Chattanooga and Knoxville.

The American Craft Council’s four annual, juried craft shows convene a vibrant community of more than 1,500 of the country’s most talented craft artists – ranging from those just beginning their careers to masters in the field – and reach nearly 50,000 attendees each year. Exhibiting artists represent the broad aesthetic, technical, and material diversity of the craft field, from age-old traditions to cutting edge technologies.

The National Endowment for the Arts awards up to eight NEA National Heritage Fellowships to master folk and traditional artists annually. These fellowships recognize lifetime achievement, artistic excellence, and contributions to our nation’s traditional arts heritage.
