I am inspired by the human experience, emotions, and human form; and I believe art is the best form of story telling. My goal is to evoke feelings that the viewers can relate to, or maybe didn’t even know they had. I believe that each viewer can have a different reaction to the same painting. I implement a range of colors in my work but always tend to enjoy vibrant and saturated color palettes. My art work often straddles the line between realism and surrealism.
I am a painter and student at West Virginia University. I grew up in Morgantown and have always known I wanted to be an artist. My art is motivated by story telling and expressing feelings and personal growth. I have taken many art classes learning drawing, painting, pottery, sculpture, and graphic design. I have participated in art shows and exhibitions as well created commissioned projects. I recently received a Creative Arts Scholarship to attend WVU.
