About Teagan Hunt

My work is inspired by the intersection of community, communication, and visual storytelling. I’m drawn to bold color, clean typography, and designs that blend function with artistic expression. Whether I’m working on a digital branding package, photographing small-town life, or sketching ideas for hand-painted signs and murals, I aim to create work that feels both personal and purposeful. My design style balances modern minimalism with nostalgic touches, reflecting my interest in traditional sign painting and vintage aesthetics. I believe good design should be accessible, engaging, and rooted in authenticity. Much of my creative process is guided by collaboration and curiosity, and I strive to make work that connects people and ideas across different platforms. My goal is always to design with intention, whether the final product lives online, on paper, or on a wall downtown.

Biography

I am a graphic designer and aspiring media professional originally from St. Marys in Pleasants County, West Virginia, and I currently reside in North Parkersburg, Wood County. My creative practice centers on graphic design and photography, with personal interests in mural work, hand lettering, and sign painting. During the 2024–2025 academic year, I studied Media Production and Strategic Communications at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. In Fall 2025, I will be transferring to Marietta College, where I plan to concentrate in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing and Leadership Studies. My academic path reflects my passion for visual storytelling, digital communication, and strategic branding. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with local businesses on branding projects, visual identity development, and promotional materials, which has strengthened my skills in client-focused design. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for how creative work can shape both individual and community identities.
