About Thomas Ott
My purpose as an artist is to tell stories, and to tell those stories in beautiful ways. What I use along the path of creation can be paint, glass, sand, concrete, marble or glitter; it matters not. What matters is the work. My theatrical training has taught me that style is simple the next show. If you want to know who I am, my theatre depicts different drama and musical delights on different days and different nights, but always this maestro does his best.
Biography
I am a multidisciplinary artist from Follansbee, West Virginia, and I’ve made a significant impact on the art community in my area and beyond. Some of my contributions are prominently showcased at Eastern Gateway Community College, where I have created three stunning murals that captivate viewers with their intricate details and vibrant colors.
My versatility as an artist is evident in my ability to work across multiple mediums. I utilize acrylics to produce vivid and engaging paintings, craft intricate jewelry pieces that reflect my keen eye for design, and expertly manipulate glass to create exquisite art objects. My dedication to my craft has earned me the esteemed title of Tamarack artist, a recognition that underscores my commitment to producing high-quality, West Virginian art that honors the state’s rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions.
I am on a continuous journey to learn and inspire the world through my art.
