Coat of Arms uniquely creates and finishes films, commercials, and other visual media. Every project is different, and so our art is unique and continues to push creative boundaries within our field. We are always growing and evolving. Coat of Arms maintains a low overhead and a can-do mentality that puts all project funds into the people we work with and the art we create.
I am a Creative Producer, Director, and Editor for the post-production studio I founded in 2010: Coat of Arms. I am an experienced visual storyteller with past jobs in post studios, agencies, and broadcasting companies. I create a vast array of work each year within the video platform, ranging from commercial or corporate to narrative film. Some clients include PBS, Verizon, Nickelodeon, Jaguar, Land Rover, Google, AOL, Marriott, Renaissance, The Onion, and Warner Brother Records.
I founded Coat of Arms to serve middle tier clients that need unique and creative video work. Our business model allows us expand and contract as a video project requires, so our clients money goes more toward the creative than unnecessary overhead. We could do this work from anywhere in the world, but have chosen to do it from here in West Virginia.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I moved to Helvetia, West Virginia, where my wife/kick-butt business partner and I raise our twin daughters.
I produced and edited the award-winning film, A Perfect Soldier, and continue to balance my commercial work with documentary and narrative filmmaking. Past awards include an Emmy, Tellys, Excellence in Title Design (SXSW), and other film festival awards.
