B.A. Photography (Marshall University), M.S. Visual & Interactive Communications (Syracuse University)

I am a photographer specializing in portrait, corporate, editorial, event and landscape photography. I also am a multimedia developer/designer specializing in video production. I am a visual storyteller. Some stories are best told by a single frozen moment in time showing interaction, reaction or connection. Other stories are best told by video and audio. My goal is create visuals with strong composition that convey the essence of whomever or whatever my subject is or does.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Marshall University and a master’s degree in Visual and Interactive Communications from the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I have worked as a photographer for the WV Department of Commerce and photo/multimedia editor for The Washington Times in Washington, D.C. I currently am the multimedia specialist for the WVU College of Business and Economics.

I worked 5 years as a staff photographer with the West Virginia Department of Commerce, 3 years as a photo editor/multimedia editor with The Washington Times in Washington, D.C., and 3 years as a Multimedia Specialist with the P.I. Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University.

I am currently a Multimedia Specialist with the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University where I produce photography, video and design work.
