I evoke warm memories of home through juicy, colorful paintings of food & places. My influences are Appalachia, the tactile sensation of working with oil paint, and the beauty found in the mundane. When I’m not working on artwork, I’m probably on the couch watching too much professional wrestling.

Biography

I’m an artist and illustrator, known primarily as an oil painter. My BFA in Studio Arts with a concentration in Drawing was earned from Shawnee State University. Raised in southern Ohio, I now live in Huntington, WV. I’m an instructor of introductory drawing classes at the Huntington Museum of Art.
