I am an contemporary and editorial photographer who is looking for the eccentric in his hometown. I am a portrait photographer, who refuses to give in to the practicability of landscape photography. Although I have an appreciative attitude towards photographers who are able to capture the beauty of a landscape, I never found joy in taking pictures of scenery. I want to produce images that cause a reaction, good or bad, and leave a lasting impression on the viewer.

Biography

I have always had a love for film and cameras, ever since I got my first camera at age 11. I began making backyard home slasher movies with my family and friends. This has inspired me to continue producing photographs that seem as if they could be part of a movie reel.

I graduated with both B.F.A. and M.A. from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. After graduation however, I did not make art for half a decade. After a long hiatus of not producing work,
I am once again inspired to create and found my love for art again.  Now I am a juried Tamarack artist.
