Growing up in the Eastern Panhandle of WV and now living in the capital city of Charleston, WV, EJ’s roots are in all genres of music—but specifically, country, rock, R&B, hip-hop and jazz. All of these musical appreciations laid the foundation for the performance value EJ generates at each event he is booked.
Reflecting on the skills and sounds of DJ Wonder, DJ AM, Z-Trip,Jazzy Jeff, DJ Scratch, Skratch Bastid,DJ ThroDown,DJ As1 and Miles Medina, EJ provides a mix full of blends, transitions and songs that are guaranteed to make you get up and move!
You can catch EJ mixing it up in various scenes throughout the region ranging from weddings, corporate functions, municipal events, galas, fundraisers, themed parties, and privately booked parties. These opportunities allow him to showcase his skills, musical knowledge and technical savvy and bring it all together to draw any crowd into the moment!
Biography
I am a DJs, DJ… A true student of the culture and appreciation of the artistry, and craft. My objective has always been committed to the process of continuing to sharpen my skills, network, and most importantly, provide an experience for clients, crowds, individuals, and our communities I’m booked to serve.
