About Karen Combs

My Art is music. My constantly evolving style is strongly influenced by my love of Blues music and the heritage of Blues music, but is becoming more heavily influenced by my 20+ years here in West Virginia. I am an Appalachian Blues musician / songwriter in a region that is not known as a Blues community.

Biography

I am a life-long songwriter, singer, guitarist and organizer. I am a founding member of the Appalachian Ladies Revue, a group of regional women artists, and current President of the Huntington Blues Society. Both of these roles provide an outlet for my personal music, as well as an opportunity for me to encourage other artists to find their voice.
