ThomasWork, as it exists today, happened by accident. Following a workplace injury, I was forced to leave construction work behind, and start anew.
With determination, and the support of the Tamarack Foundation, I attended the Buyers Market of American Craft in 2012. After meticulous preparation and pre-show marketing, ThomasWork secured enough new wholesale accounts to stay busy full time working from home.
Working in West Virginia provides ThomasWork with an abundant supply of raw materials and inspiration, coupled with low cost of living and high quality of life
Biography
As the son of a Union carpenter, woodworking and a strong work ethic have always been a part of my life. Following an apprenticeship with Jeff Fetty of Jeff Fetty Designs, I returned to my roots and started my own production woodworking business.
As a NICHE Award winner in 2013, I’ve enjoyed great success in the wholesale handmade marketplace, with over 80% of my customers reordering our products.
