I am an abstract expressionist painter, working in both oils and acrylics, respectively. My work is highly intuitive, creating emotional landscapes through the relationship between mark-making and color fields. I strive to create a relationship between color and movement that expresses extremely intimate and raw human experiences.

Biography

I am an abstract expressionist painter, working in both oils and acrylics. I studied Fine Arts and Education at Fairmont State University from 2004-2009. I am the founder and curator of www.freshcontemporary.net, a contemporary art blog and monthly digest. Most recently, I was accepted into the Friend of the Artist Spring 2017 publication and have an exhibit “New Works by Samantha Keith” at Arts Monongahela in Morgantown May 9-26.
