About Steve Konya II
If I could sum my photography up into one word that would be ‘diverse’. I do not have a particular style but a varying style that changes with the subject. My photos range from waterfalls, landscapes, nature, infrared, and architecture, to avant garde. There is a lot of the world to see, so why limit yourself to one subject.
Biography
I am a photographer who was born, raised, and lives in Fairmont, West Virginia. I have been taking photos since I first held a camera in my hand around age five. My love of photography has grown ever since.
Born in 1973 and raised in these hills of West Virginia, I graduated from Fairmont State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
Most of my photos are taken in West Virginia and nearby locations. I take an eclectic assortment of photographs in both digital and film. I enjoy taking trips to photograph my home state.
I have had my work published in Wonderful West Virginian, West Virginia Living, Friends of Blackwater Newsletter, and a mural in Canaan Valley Resort Lodge.
I also enjoy hiking, firearm history, and I am a proud Cat Dad.
