About Vaughn Hutchison
I have several things I’ve tried to develop over the years. I do wildlife and landscape acrylics and need to focus on doing quality prints. I have plans to teach private classes as well as continue to hold fun paint nights in the community’s around the area which I’ve done for years now. I have another very talented artist I want to open a studio here in Hinton with at some point allowing people to come in and watch us paint as well as some private classes. Also would like to give free classes to local teens that may have issues. I have developed a small business as well doing custom camo work on a lot of outdoor equipment for hunters and fisherman.
My name is Vaughn and I’m a native of Monroe Co, West Virginia. I now reside in the beautiful town of Hinton. Being raised in the beautiful mountains and valleys of the area I became an avid outdoorsman at a early age.
My natural talent for art became apparent in high school. Receiving some training from Concord College as well as from other professional artists. Developing a style of my own that works with my colored blindness. My drawings ,paintings, and photography reflect the rich history of the area and the beautiful wildlife and landscape it provides.
