If you are early in your career and feel intimidated at all about getting your artist statement or photos ready for this application, please apply anyway. Even when whe don’t accept an application on the first try, we will reach out to guide you in making improvements. We see this application as a way to get in touch and prepare you to communicate professionally about your art.

Provide 4 - 12 sentences about yourself as a practicing artist or creative. Write in first person (“I am a painter and illustrator...”). Include information such as: types of creative work you practice; where you are from; where you are today; what motivated you to begin your creative practice or business; relevant education and certifications, training and practice; accolades and awards; and study with well-known creatives.
