What motivates my Art/soap making is a lifetime of Psoriasis. I have had skin issues my entire life and needed to move to a more natural skincare regimen. I am a single mother who homeschools, works two jobs from home and cares for my household as a Mom. This is my
motivation, to be able to support my family. I have been a creative my whole life and really enjoy making products. It lets me support my creativity and household. I love making soap and felted Art!
Biography
I am an Artist and soap maker in Kanawha County. I was born in Charleston, South Carolina due to my Fathers military service with the Navy. I make goats-milk soap, Beeswax candles, Soy candles, body butters, felted wool soaps. I began making cold process soaps in 2020. Previously I had painted acrylic pictures and showed at The Mad Batter in Cape May, New Jersey. I moved back to West Virginia in 2018. Since moving back home , I have become a “soaper”.
