Website

My inspiration comes from nature. I love greens and blues. Once a painting has begun, my subconscious takes over, giving my paintings a feeling of in the moment. I like to convey movement and texture by using a palette knife. This results in bold paintings with a 3D quality.

Biography

I am an abstract oil painter from Putnam County. I am a board member of Allied Artists of WV and a member of Tri-State Artists. My work can be seen at Tamarack: The Best of West Virginia in Beckley, Gallery Eleven in Charleston, and the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce building known as Area 34. While mainly a self taught artist, I love to further my art knowledge through workshops and interactions with other artists.
