My inspiration comes from the world around me. From nature to portraits, my work is colorful and bold. My media of choice is oil pastels and colored pencils. I would describe my style as a sort of dreamy realism with smoothly blended colors and blurry details.

My name is Marlie Ramey. I’m an artist based out of Hurricane, West Virginia. I have always been creative but only began practicing art again due to the stresses of college. Since, I have danced from medium to medium but ultimately fell in love with oil pastels and colored pencils.
