I started practicing woodworking when I wanted a table on my porch that wouldn’t blow over in the wind. I decided to build one for myself. My relatives loved it, the mail lady asked where I got it, the meter reader wanted to buy one for his mother… I figured I was onto something. So I made more and more and am still making them and loving every minute of it!

Biography

I make functional art , tables , benches, shelves etc. from my Mountains. I also paint when it’s to cold to build. I’ve always been very creative and when I go “gathering” in the woods it never ceases to amaze me the ability nature has to provide exactly what I need! Most times I can’t wait to get back home while not ever wanting to leave. I try to only work with dead or dying wood .
