Tara Fowler Photography was founded in May of 2009. My inspiration to continue to create stunning landscapes is to showcase the beauty around us. The majestic mountains and rolling hills keep me inspired to continually move forward and always produce more. The style I provoke has a uniqueness that simplifies a landscape. My overall vision is to expose the soul of my subject. The approach I take to photography is to seek out a different perspective and to have my viewer intrigued by what they see. A positive attitude helps guide me to my next great landscape.

Biography

Being a native of southern West Virginia, I’m accustomed to outdoor recreation and the quiet countryside. I enjoy the rustling of leaves and the quaint sound of a nearby stream. Nestled deep in the New River Gorge, adventure is always at my fingertips. Photography has been my passion for almost two decades. I spend most of my time capturing beautiful images near and far. Motherhood, art, and travel are most important. They are the coals that ignite my soul and push my work to new levels. My work is free range, from the Appalachian Mountains, to Coastal Carolina, to the deserts of the Southwest, I’m all over the map. Photography manifests my true passion to capture images that tell a story. My motivation to seek out unique subjects continues as I leave a lasting impression on those who enjoy the photos I create.
