About Chris DeMaria

I like to paint subjects in a way I haven’t seen before. I feel like living in Appalachia provides the perfect setting to achieve that. The people and places have a wonderful uniqueness that is special. Through my artwork, I hope to celebrate that.

Biography

I was born and grew up in Miami, Florida and work in a variety of mediums. My work covers a variety of subject matter but our region has inspired me the most. I currently live in Floyd, Virginia. Most of my work is shown in Virginia and West Virginia.
