I am a creator working in both sculpture, painting,, digital art, and music composition. My sculpture is composed of large scale public artworks in bronze and stainless steel, and smaller scale works in ceramics. steel, and mixed media. I also create sculpture digitally with Zbrush and in virtual reality. My painting is primarily watercolor and oils, and digital tools such as Procreate. My music is composed and performed with my band Lords of Lester. The concepts in my art flow between different mediums, and center on motifs of the human figure, birds, architecture, and social themes. My works are often influenced and contain references to my environment, growing up in an coal mining extraction economic milieu. I strive not to make my work overly didactic, but open to interpretation. I received my BFA at WVU under Bob Anderson and Alison Helm, and studied in Italy and China, notably the cities Jingdezhen and Hangzhou.
