About Lynn Browder

I grew up wanting to do crafts like so many of my family members, being inspired by their creativity and what they could make. Crafts have always been a huge part of my life but I didn’t start painting until a friend suggested it for my son Owen who has autism. I am inspired by helping my son flourish and work on his fine motor skills. I paint with more of a whimsical style, and I’m influenced by nature and my relatives that have come before me. I want our paintings to be inspiring and to let people know that together we can accomplish amazing things.

Biography

I live in South Charleston, WV with my son Owen who is eleven and has autism. I started painting with my him to help him with his fine motor skills. He helps me paint the backgrounds of our paintings with a hand over hand method and then I paint the rest. I also make cards and prints from our paintings. I wrote a book called 365 Days of autism that follows our daily journey and I do a weekly podcast.
