About Riley Barriger

As an artist I look to promote and engage with individuals through the art I create. As someone who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community in West Virginia, I constantly want to provide representation and awareness of queer individuals. With art I engage with the human condition and the many ways we are similar, yet different. I long to constantly bring classical theatre such as Shakespeare and Chekov to our contemporary world with new adaptations and interpretations of these classics. Theatre is my way to connect with others wether it’s through playwriting, acting, directing, or anything in-between.
