Biography
I am a WV Homesteader, Homeschooler, Herbalist and an artist. I specialize in herbal medicine, micro- farming, wearable art and other handcrafted items. My husband and I opened our business in 2016 to create a better work/life balance for our family. We use our family operated micro-farm and retail business as a tool to teach our children Homesteading and Entrepreneur skills. We also created a program specifically for at risk youth and teens aging out of foster care in our community. We provide educational workshops and create job opportunities for these teens. We are also a partner of The Communities of Healing program, where we create job opportunities for WV residents that have completed a substance abuse recovery program. Participants in both programs get on the job training in a safe work environment while also learning craftsmanship skills, Homesteading skills and much more. Earlier this year we received a certificate of recognition from our state representatives for our participation in The Communities of Healing program.
